ABOUT

The Supportive Housing Alliance (“the Alliance”) is a network of 12 organizations based in Los Angeles County that advance the development and operation of permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless individuals and families with disabilities.

Purpose

The Supportive Housing Alliance educates and advances policies, programs, and resources through collective advocacy for the production and operation of permanent supportive housing as the most effective solution to ending homelessness for people with disabilities.

Impact

  • 11,017 units of affordable housing developed, of which

  • 7,590 units are permanent supportive housing units

  • 1,703 units of permanent supportive housing currently under construction

  • 2,557 units of permanent supportive housing in pre-development
